Decision
Revenue-per-mile as the anchor metric
Raw revenue rewards long, unprofitable hauls. Anchoring the report on revenue-per-mile instead surfaces which lanes and drivers actually make money, not just which move the most freight.
Result
Dispatchers get a state-level view of where freight is profitable and where it isn't, replacing a manual spreadsheet review with a live report.
